GIS Mapping Technology Lands at Awbury!

Our Geographical Information Science (GIS) mapping project with Temple University and Keystone Instruments has officially begun! Temple student mappers have been collecting geospacial data using Geographical Positioning System (GPS) equipment and field computers donated by Keystone Instruments. GIS mapping brings together cartography, statistical analysis, and database technology to custom design multi-layered maps that have a wide range of applications. We can’t wait to see the results, and share the maped/cataloged Awbury landscape with you!
