Community Event Brings Awbury Neighbors Together
Neighbors gather to learn more about Awbury Arboretum and the Awbury Neighbors Association
AWBURY – Saturday, June 11, 2011 – On a beautiful June afternoon, neighbors of Awbury Arboretum gathered to meet and greet each other and learn more about Awbury Arboretum and the Awbury Neighbors Association. The collaborative event, dubbed "Neighbor Bring A Neighbor", was the brainchild of the Awbury Neighbors Association, and included a barbeque, live jazz music and addresses from representatives of both organizations. Participants of all ages enjoyed the chance to meet new neighbors, chat with old friends, and learn more about Awbury Arboretum as a community resource.
